Today my Sweet Irish Rose said she heard them debating on WEEI what kind of reception Nomar would get and asked me what I thought. And I told her that it wasn’t even open to discussion; that guaranteed, mortal lock, bet the mortgage and our children’s eyes on it, that Nomar would get a unanimous, 100% positive standing ovation from one end of Fenway to another. And of course he did. The question now is how can Barstool keep getting it right when the Boston media… who are supposed to be savvy and understand the fans in this town… keep on getting it wrong?
