wilburham, uhh yeah, it’s easier to tackle with pads on, that’s the difference. Ignore his speed relative to other guys on the field, just look at the ground he’s covering. He ran a 4.4 40, and looks like one of those guys who plays quicker because his top gear speed is redonk.

You people realize he played on the football team right? He walked on in 2009 and was a special teams player. He played about 3 snaps as safety and recorded a sack. rugby doesn’t rate in this country because it’s not played by the best athletes..you want to see great rugby, and by that I mean the 15 a side game not the abbreviated sevens version, catch the All Backs (New Zealand), Australia, Samoa or South African national team games. Those countries best athletes playing a great game. No disrespect to the NFL players but top rugby players are better all round athletes. Try playing both defense and offense for 80 minutes.

Like Mcbroface, I’ve played both sports. Rugby is more challenging defensively for sure. But football is a lot different and as a linebacker, I think mentally he won’t be able to make those split decisions Pro Linebackers can make. I’m interested to see how this pans out.
