Carolina - A US Deputy Assistant Attorney-General, who said he was on his lunch break when an officer found him with a stripper and sex toys in his sport utility vehicle, has been fired, his boss said. Roland Corning, 66, a former state legislator, was in a secluded part of a downtown cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina, when an officer spotted him on Monday, according to a police report. As the officer approached, Mr Corning sped off, then pulled over a few blocks away. He and the 18-year-old woman with him, an employee of the Platinum Plus Gentleman’s Club, gave conflicting stories about what they were doing in the cemetery Officer Wines…then searched the SUV, where he found a Viagra pill and several sex toys, items Mr Corning said he always kept with him, “just in case”, according to the report. …Attorney-General Henry McMaster [said] such a trip to the cemetery “would not be appropriate, at any time, for an assistant attorney-general”

To steal a line from George Costanza when he got caught having sex with the cleaning lady on his desk, “Is that wrong?”  Because I’m a little unclear on the whole “You can’t work over an 18 year old stripper with dildos in a cemetery on your lunch break” policy.  And really, what’s the beef here anyway?  Was a crime being committed?  Were they disturbing the peace of those who have presumably resting in it?  If not, then what the hell business is it of AG McMaster what Corning is doing on his personal time?  That’s why they call it “personal.”  Why would anyone care whether he’s buggering some age-of-consent runaway with a French tickler or sitting at his desk eating chili out of a bread bowl?  It’s nobodies business but his and the teenage skank he’s with.

PS.  What’s gotten into South Carolina politicians?  This stuff wasn’t going on when Lou Holtz was running the Gamecocks, I promise you that.
