Quadruple Technical Dooms Celtics As The Drop 3rd Straight To Hawks
Tough loss for the Celts tonight. Joe Johnson was a beast. Celts got called for a quadruple technical that changed the total momentum of the game, but they still got outplayed in the 4th quarter by a mile. Anyway last year I met Tommy Heinsohn and told him that the Hawks scared me to death. He laughed right in my face, but I don’t think he’s laughing any more. They are a good fucking team. Granted we’re not at full strength, but these guys still scare me way more than Orlando does in the East.

Celts will continue to struggle with young athletic teams. We just don’t rebound against active players.
Im still not sure why, but Boston needs to figure out how to rebound. Its the single biggest issue right now.
Just checked the box score. We did actually outrebound the hawks.
But 9 OREB to Celtics 3 is brutal. Thats a potential 27 extra points and at the least a 10 in put backs.

i was at that game last night and the celts were crushing the hawks until the refs took over. it was the worse officiating i’ve seen ever. the high point was the little black kid whose got the best dance moves of all time and i wish someone had a clip of him.

I don’t think Cleveland is a big of threat as they were a year ago.

Let me correct what I meant. ATL is going up on the threat scale to orange and Cleveland is more of a yellow. Staying the same or maybe less. I don’t think their chemistry is as good as it was last year.

soooo back to why the celts are in trouble and the hawks are on the rise. The main problem with the C’s is that we’re just too old. I mean dont get me wrong, I was as thrilled as anyone in 08 when we were on top but even then you knew we were a team built for a short thrill and thats it. Ainge is out of his mind if he thinks a point gaurd with no range and that shoots 59% from the stripe is the furture of the franchise. Unless we get a miracle in the lottery in the future then the 2010′s are going to look and awful lot like the 1990′s. The hawks on the other hand are a great combo of veteran talent mixed with young studs. Joe Johnson, Al Horford, and Josh Smith are going to have a good little run over the next few years.
