Rachel Uchitel Trying To Get Her Affair With Tiger Back In the Headlines
TMZ – Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress claims she was lying when she said she did not have an affair with Tiger Woods … and sources tell TMZ the fight at Tiger’s home the morning of the crash was triggered by a series of text messages between Tiger and the woman. Rachel Uchitel has publicly denied she had sexual relations with Tiger Woods, but we’ve learned she has said she did indeed have an affair with the golfer. And, we’re told it was her — not Jaimee Grubbs — who caused an argument between Tiger and his wife, Elin Nordegren, that immediately preceded Tiger’s SUV crash. Sources say less than an hour before Tiger’s accident, Rachel and Tiger were texting each other. Elin confronted Tiger and asked whom he was texting. No… he accepts sponsorships to make money based on the fact that he’s good at golf with a very conservative, media-safe personality… not that he’s a good person. It’s up to the media to portray him as a person, so don’t blame Tiger. He knows he’s a scum for cheating, but he’s still entitled to his private life, and it shouldn’t interfere with his success in advertisements. Who really knows Tiger outside the golf course? Sure, he does all his charity work like he should, but I don’t recall the media highlighting it. But of course, when something bad happens he suddenly owes us the story.
What’s different about Tiger actually doing the cheating behind closed doors (which we would never know about in the first place) with him hiding that he’s cheating behind closed doors after the fact? If we weren’t entitled to his private life in the first place, why are we now? He was performing the same wrongdoing before, why do we suddenly care? Just because he crashed at 2:30 am or whatever and the wife/golf club thing happened, doesn’t mean we are entitled to know. Our connection with Tiger isn’t at the personal level, because he doesn’t make money off us due to his “perfect” personal life. I understand us shitting on him if he swears and makes an ass of himself on the course, because that’s how we know Tiger and his game and TV antics is how he makes money off us. But I disagree that he owes us the story based on the fact that since we fans made him famous, we deserve to know. If we didn’t know he was cheating in the first place because we respected his privacy, then we shouldn’t suddenly barge in even if something were to happen.

He’s crafted this image that he is genuinely a good guy through his charity work and his quotes about how important it was for him to get married and start a family. He’s said these things himself. He’s a worldwide icon and he’s a role model to millions of young kids. This is a huge deal and it should be publicized because everything that his public image has been about has portrayed him as great role model. That’s why it is annoying when people say this just another case of an athlete cheating. It’s not at all, it’s about the biggest athlete in the world having his image tarnished completely. Only time will tell as to how big of an effect this will have on Tiger and the PGA Tour.
