During the second game of a best of three series, a Coventry, RI player charged the mound against a player from Bishop Hendricken, Warwick, RI after leaning into a curve ball. When he got out there, he realized he was all alone against our entire team. Stupid asshole.

Who the hell charges the mound in high school? And who charges the mound after getting hit on the calf with a 25 mph curveball that you leaned into? That’s some Deeds type shit. (inside joke) There has to be a back story. Like the pitcher fucked this kid’s girlfriend or something. I just refuse to believe anybody would charge solely based on this pitch. Even the pitcher seemed confused as fuck. Like this bro is really coming at me right now? What?

How about providing a little background info before simply posting a video with a completely biased description.
1. The batter had gotten 3 hits off of hendricken the day before and had been hit in his previous at-bat.
2. As you can see, he didn’t lean into it at all. Every player is taught in little league to turn their back to a pitch that’s going to hit them.
3. The pitcher was a complete hot-head as well, trash-talking and hitting 3 more batters before he was eventually ejected as well.
Not saying that he has an excuse to charge the mound…but let’s not be biased here…
