Liz Hawkenson, is a freshman at ASU who did an ‘interview’ with backroom casting coach and even signed a waiver to allow the video to be posted. Now several ASU alum are calling for the revocation of her $32,000 New American Scholar Award:

Distinguished Regents,

I am writing to express my shock and horror at the public conduct of a member of Arizona State University’s 2010 freshman class, Elizabeth A. Hawkenson of Copperas Cove, Texas. This person recently appeared in an internet video in which she identified herself by name, showed her ASU student ID card, then proceeded to engage in explicit and degrading sexual activities with a stranger. She was paid for the act and signed a waiver allowing the video to be posted on the internet.

As an ASU alumnus, I object to Ms. Hawkenson’s choice to identify herself as an ASU student in a pornographic video that is available to the general public. I feel that which clearly violates the ASU Student Code of Conduct.

On behalf of my fellow ASU alumni, I demand that Ms. Hawkenson’s $32,000 New American Scholar Award be revoked immediately. A young woman who brings shame on her university in such a public and degrading way does not deserve the financial support of that university.

Ah one of the great debates of our generation.    Should you lose your scholarship for doing casting couch porn?   Great philosophers from Aristotle to Socrates have debated this very issue.    Therefore it’s not surprising that this letter is replacing the Duke Lacrosse powerpoint as the hottest thing on the Internet right now.     Obviously I did some research and found the video on pornhub for everybody to watch and draw their own conclusions from.   Because to be uninformed is to be ignorant. Anyway after carefully studying the film I can confirm that she did in fact show her ASU ID card and she did in fact get drilled in the ass. So the question now becomes does she deserve to have her scholarship pulled for it? For me it boils down to what she got the scholarship for in the first place  Like was it an academic scholarship?   Or was it for being a respectable chick, having great character and representing the University a certain way?   Regardless though I won’t do a thing until the coward who wrote this letter signs their name to it.   I mean say whatever you want about Elizabeth Hawkenson, but at least she has the balls to get fucked on camera and stand by it.    None of this anonymous shit.    That has to count for something.
