LineSier, I remember 2004 & 2002 and yes those teams were solid, but they did not dominate like this team did. And this team did dominate! This team just felt right. They could score, hit, and defend. I feel way more disappointed in this loss than 2002 & 2004. Part of that is because in 2002 & 2004 they could not beat teams with speed and they ended up getting fast Montreal teams in both seasons. No team in the East could match up with this years Bruins top to bottom. They just choked.

I’d say my assessment of hockey is pretty spot on…considering it is a distant 4th in popularity…Sportscenter shows 8 May MLB highlights before it even mentions the NHL playoffs…cuz no one cares…which takes the sting out of last night…the sport is for Canadians and Russians…and yes, basketball has some flaws but is much more fun to watch then 4 shots on net in 10 minutes and these fuckin halftime length intermissions between each period are ridiculous…man up and keep playing Sergei Trashmonivic…anyway, nothing touches NFL football, which is what I care about the most by far

And If you have ever been to a playoff hockey game (highly doubt you have) you would see that when a goal is scored, the intensity is hagher than any other sport (except maybe a big touchdown in football).
