Yeah I know soccer players are pussies blah, blah, blah. But I’ll be damned if I don’t respect this ref. The dude has more “knocked out cold swag” in his little toe than soccer players have in their entire body. Like when I first started watching this I was convinced the ref got sucker punched Rudy Tomjanovich style by a player or a fan and was literally out cold. Nope. Dude barely even got touched. I so ain’t even mad at him either. Flop big or go home.
PS – What is the point of a ref flopping? Like who is he trying to trick? You don’t have to sell the call when you can make the call yourself. Very odd.
