So here are the two interviews I did today. Also unless something wild happens, which seems to be happening every 3 seconds, these are my final double secret probation comments on Babygate. As most people have heard by now Stern was not on my side. He basically said what I did was wrong and I was a pervert. Kind of sucked because I was obviously hoping he’d rally behind me and get his audience to all become Stoolies. Didn’t go down that way at all. Oh well. Don’t get me wrong I could give two shits less about his opinion other than trying to gain readers. I mean dude made the same exact joke he was roasting me for during the interview. I’m also not going to lose any sleep getting lectured from a guy who once made fun of 75 people who died in a plane crash and a guy that said the Columbine Killers should have raped the girls before they murdered them. Apparently this is more acceptable for a parent to hear or see than what I did. I guess he wasn’t a parent back then and that changes everything. Makes you a big teddy bear. Anyway everybody is entitled to their opinion. I don’t think any less or more of Stern. Truthfully I just wanted the publicity.
Then after Stern I went on and did an interview with NPR and Emily Rooney and if people rwant a glimpse into how I really feel about this whole babygate situation that’s the one to listen to. She was fair and I was as honest as I could possibly be.

I lost a lot of respect for Howard today. I’ve been a fan of his for 20+ years. I remember watching the saturday night shows on WWOR with my dad when I was 10 or 11. In retrospect, I probably didn’t even understand half the jokes, but it made my dad laugh, so shit must have been funny. Then I loved it when my small city became one of the first radio affiliates early in the 90s….and have been listening to him ever since.
He is really the only reason I ever went with Satellite, but I will probably cancel at the end of this month. The schtick has been getting slightly less funny year over year.
