DM — Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler has sensationally revealed he spent $6 million on drugs, admitting: ‘You could say I snorted half of Peru’. The flamboyant star, who with guitarist Joe Perry was known as one of the Toxic Twins, said he estimated he had shovelled millions up his nose in the years – controversially less than the $20 million than had rumoured. Tyler, 65, revealed the huge spend on Australian show 60 Minutes, saying he spent: ‘Realistically, 5 or 6 [million]. But it doesn’t matter. You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn’t matter.’

I LOVE stories like this. They’re like the anti-shoe shiner from this morning. He made me feel like a piece of shit and then Steven Tyler comes along and reminds me I’m really not all that bad. I get to go into the weekend with a totally clear conscience. Because while I may not be the best person in the world, I’m never going to spend 6 MILLION dollars on coke. Sure I might go out and drink 40 beers this weekend, eat a bunch of late night carbs and perhaps wet the bed once I inevitably hit the sack alone. You know what I’m not going to do? Not gonna give half of Peru the smell test. God I’m such a good guy. Probably a front runner for the new pope.
