T union to agree to ban cell phones for drivers: Is Popcorn Next?

Bostonherald - A day after authorities said a text-messaging operator caused one Green Line trolley to crash into another, the head of the MBTA’s drivers union announced it would agree to ban drivers carrying cell phones and all other electronic devices while on duty. “This was an individual act… that does not represent 99 percent of my members,” MacDougall said.

People need to relax regarding the Green Line crash yesterday. Like the MBTA said 99% of their drivers don’t text while on the job and I believe them. Because how else would they be able to stuff their face with popcorn while driving if they are simultaneously texting? It’s impossible unless you got like an extra hand or something. So like I said people just need to relax because we’re in good hands with the MBTA.

What a jackass Union. You mean the Green Line crash near Riverside wasn’t enough to cause them to ‘agree’ to this ban? How does this rodeo clown Union leader know that the other 99% are God-like creatures? I know they think of themselves that way, but it doesn’t mean they are. I’m inclined to believe that 99% are bad until someone proves otherwise. Good luck there.
