The 2010 Celtics Would Have Murdered People In 2002
Â
Not sure what’s sadder. Either that this is our CURRENT team or that I still have NBA Live 2002 and spent my Thursday Night simulating how good we would have been 8 years ago.    Not bad huh?  82-0.
Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Shaquille O’Neal aren’t walking through that door. And if they do they’d be old and grey.  Wait… Nevermind.
I Love Walta!
Fuck live. Gimme NBA Jams.
wtf – DEVLIN’s taking us into the weekend now?
chk-chk (pause) BLAM!
i love a good fireball dunk from 40 feet high
The Celtics are old. Like, really old.
Go Warriors!!!
this is the first good thing devlin has posted
warriors…that’s funny
How did Walter McCartey only average 2 points per game? Obviously Tommy H. didn’t program this game.
Kenny Anderson is your replacement for Rajon Rondo? Damn, you suck Devlin.
Yeah really affected the team too. Kenny, Tony, and Milt can platoon my backcourt anyday
Emmit Smith enjoys receiving Palacio
what….no rondo?
Damn Devlin you really got into this shit huh? I mean you even edited Michael Finley’s jersey to number 40 to increase the realism.
I totally forgot about Milt Palacio. He was good for like 10 games that season. I guess he was the Euroleague March MVP in 2008? I can’t imagine that talent pool is very solid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhKeQq-NcA
I’m surprised Sheed and J. O’Neal only had about 3 PPG in this simulation though. They were really good back then too. You should have spread out the PT in the Rotation a little better to see if you could get 5 or 6 dudes to average over 20 PPG.
Best devlin post ever.
Hey assholes, it’s NBA ’02, why the fuck would Rondo be at the point? I’m pretty sure he was a sophomore in high school back then.
Idiots.
ha great post.
WTF happen to Jermaine O’Neal? 3 PPG? That was during his prime and getting 20/10 every night.
As a Boston sports site I’d like to see Jerry do a “Where are they now?” blog and interview with Dino Radja
Pokey looks like there’re not enough balls to go around, unlike friday nights in your sister’s room. Look at SHEEEEEEEEED numbers as well. Finley was great back then too, stacked team in stacked
Kenny needs to be getting more than 3.6 dimes a game.
Should be 15+ a game
Four players combining for 99.6, that’s decent, team averages 124.4 on the year, not bad
I love how they are celebrating on the Alamodome court…
damn man, Potapenko didn’t even dress huh?
without Delk they’re just average
definitely the best thing devlin has ever posted.
they just talked about this on sports hub/toucher and rich
