Listen I hate ultimate Frisbee. Because just like with lacrosse and hacky sack it’s a sport for people who can’t play real sports. So the fact that this is being played in a stadium with a crowd makes me want to puke. But having said that this still has to be the greatest ultimate frisbee catch of all time. Actually scratch that. This may be the best catch of all time in anything period. I mean sometimes you just got to tip your cap and this is one of those times. Great play by this bald dude. Anyone can play lacrosse. And when I say anyone I mean give a fucking homeless guy a lacrosse stick and he can pick up the game and be decent at it in a few hours. The same can’t be said for other sports that take a while to get good at.

Of course a dude named “broseiden” tries to defend lax by saying it requires more hand eye coordination than any mainstream sport. All you need is to be fast to play lax. Hand eye coordination is the main argument for baseball being harder than other sports, and don’t say that just cuz it’s not a contact sport that it’s not as hard as lax cuz any in shape baseball player could practice lax for a couple weeks and be a respectable player. but lax players could never step up to the plate and come close to hitting even an 80 mph fastball. end of story

In Ultimate a player has possession of the disc once rotation is stopped. It’s obvious that a disc is much easier to catch quickly than an NFL sized football is to palm, so it’s difficult to draw a parallel between the two. I dare say there are 3 receivers in the game that could, with one hand, catch and maintain control of a ball in a fully extended, full speed, over the shoulder dive. I’m in no way putting ultimate players on the same level as a Larry Fitzgerald, merely illuminating the fact that catches such as these are so common at this high of a level of Ultimate that it doesn’t matter that it hit the ground, it’s clear he had full control of the disc beforehand.
Yes some of the lax bros are gay as they come, especially in the Cape, but Lacrosse is tough as balls. I have played goalie my whole life in hockey, in my senior year of highschool we started a lax team and they needed a goalie so they asked me to play. Long story short I went home with a shit ton more bruises.
I respect real lacrosse players, they are great athletes. They can do more than stand at the plate 4 times a game and hit a ball with the use of performance enhancing drugs

I you do not think lacrosse is not a sport then you have no concept of what a real sport is. Lacrosse has the one of the hardest skill sets of any sport next to soccer and hockey. It combines, strength, skill, athleticism, toughness, stamina and teamwork. That sounds like a sport to me.
Obviously sports become more difficult at their higher levels, but at there core baseball and football are probably the most fundamentally easy sports out there. Any retarded kid can catch or throw a baseball or football, give them a lacrosse stick and they will poke their eye out.

Haha, to see some of you guys saying lacrosse isn’t a sport try and play with the likes of syracuse university, the university of johns hopkins, duke, cornell, princeton, notre dame, university of virginia would be so funny. haha you fags still living the glory days of high school football would be ran around so fast by these guys you deem “non-athletic.” haha. Just for your information, the NESCAC is a lacrosse powerhouse (Tufts won the division III national championship this year) and in that conference all athletes are encouraged to play two sports. I played against Middlebury this year and their trainer told our trainer that all the Middlebury lacrosse players all play either football or hockey along with lacrosse. There goes your argument that lacrosse players aren’t good enough to play other sports. Oh and Middlebury hockey team has won eight national championships and their lacrosse has won three so they are pretty good.
