The “Jon Lovitz Affair” Gets Steve Phillips Fired
ESPN – Baseball analyst Steve Phillips has been fired by ESPN after admitting to an affair with an assistant at the cable network.
ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Sunday night the network determined Phillips’ ability to be an effective analyst was “significantly and irreparably damaged.”
Let me ask you this. If Brooke Hundley was hot would Steve Phillips have been fired? No fucking way right? After all, Phillips was already an admitted adulterer/scumbag when ESPN hired him in the first place. So I’m not sure how having another affair suddenly ruins his credibility as an analyst? The only difference here is the ugly factor. You just can’t look at him now without laughing or throwing up or both. That’s why he got fired. It wasn’t that he cheated. ESPN doesn’t give a fuck about that. It’s who he cheated with. You just can’t fuck Jon Lovitz 3 times and expect to get away with it. Not even at the Worldwide Leader in Sports.
