So it would have been Chicago's ball and they inevitably inbounded and forced a foul eventually. And as people have pointed out...if Pierce didn't turn into Shaq at the free throw line in the clutch, none of this would matter. Stop blaming the refs and start blaming Paul Pierce's historical lack of balls at the line in the 4th quarter and OT.
