I know that everybody around the NFL is still buzzing about that Dante Wesley hit on Sunday. Debating whether he should be kicked out of the league and shit like that. Our own Jerry Thornton said it was “the biggest pussy move he’d seen since Jack Tatum put a defenseless Darryl Stingley in a wheelchair for life.” And while I agree with what everybody is saying let’s not forget who was the originator of this move. Yup none other than the Pittsburgh Steeler’s superstar Troy Polamalu. He was perfecting this move way back in college. So just remember everything that people are sying right now about Wesley can also be applied to Polamlu. They are both cowards and scumbags of equal proportion and this hit just proves it. Stay classy Pittsburgh.

I LOVE this ‘play’. I’ll bet you KSU didn’t even attempt to catch another punt the rest of the day – return man ran as far away from the ball as he could. Hell – it’s only a 15-yarder; why not do it early in a game to set the tone (granted this was 3rd Q, down 10-0 you get desperate). If I’m Kansas I hit Shipley like this early this Saturday. Next Denver game I’d do the same to Royal. Josh Cribbs would be prime candidate for this ‘play’. I’m all about it!!!
