What’s The Deal With Tom Brady’s Tom Brady Hat?
Ok enough is enough. It’s time for me to chime in on Tom Brady’s Tom Brady hat. I know he’s been wearing it for almost a year now, but at first I didn’t even know what it was so I didn’t really pay attention to it. But lately it’s been fucking everywhere. Mark Wahlberg wore it on Entourage Sunday and Brady was wearing it at camp yesterday. In fact I’m betting that was part of the deal of him agreeing to go on Entourage in the first place. Wahlberg hat to wear it. So what gives? Brady doesn’t seem like the type of guy that would wear a custom hat with his name on it everywhere he goes does he? That seems more like something Brett Favre or Peyton Manning would do. So I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with this. Like he’s going to announce that he’s selling them for charity or that his broke ass college friend needed a job and came up with this idea and begged Brady to wear it. But I’m just hoping this isn’t like his thing. The QB shouldn’t be wearing a hat that his name on it. It just sends the wrong message. It almost makes me wish he went back to the Yankees hat.
You are sitting there thinking of ways to make money, and bootlegging these hats doesn’t seem like a viable option?
He’s like Tiger Woods with the TW on his hat. When you’re the best in the world at what you do, you can wear whatever the fuck you want.

I’m not a big fan of that logo, its too jumbled. I didn’t even see the TB12 until Nebaseball explained it.
That being said, he can really do whatever he wants, but i wont be buying one.
There is only one circumstance where Tom Brady should wear a hat with his name or initials on it and that is when he’s on the Simpsons or some other cartoon in order to make him easily identifiable.

I thought Entourage was somewhat interesting the first couple seasons but the dialogue and plot of the show is so excruciatingly bad. I wish Brady had stayed the hell away from it.

BTW, remember that Carson Palmer’s skills have significantly dropped since he had the same injury/surgery as Brady. Look for a drop off. Actually no jcorn, their injuries were not the same. Palmer’s was FAR worse.
Palmer’s injury included “numerous ligament tears, a shredded ligament, damaged cartilage and a dislocated kneecap,” and was considered “devastating and career threatening.”
