CBS - – Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) is raising some eyebrows with a comment he made about the U.S. territory of Guam during a House Armed Services Committee hearing last Thursday. In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans to Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet. “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” Johnson said. Willard paused and replied, “We don’t anticipate that.”

Why the fuck is everyone riding this guy Johnson on this? Is it really that silly of an idea? Wasn’t the whole point of westward expansion of the 1800s in the US based on scientific fact that the eastern seaboard was sinking? You don’t think it’s a coincidence that all the major cities are on either side of the map? It’s to prevent the US from flipping into the ocean like your fat friend who not only has never been in a kayak before but after you got him right side up again is so filled with salt water you cant get him out of the damn thing.
