Florida – A woman attempting to vote in West Boca Raton this morning was initially prohibited from entering the polling place because she was wearing a t-shirt with the letters MIT. BocaNewsNow.com has heard from multiple sources that an election supervisor at the polling place ultimately realized that MIT stands for “Massachusetts Institute of Technology” — a school where students tend to know how to spell — and was not a campaign shirt for the Republican candidate, who spells his name MITT. Campaigning is not permitted within several yards of a polling place. The woman was ultimately allowed to vote.

Isn’t it so typical of the geniuses from MIT to not be able to do the simplest things in life? They can build space shuttles and design core reactors and shit, but give them a basic door to walk through and it turns into chaos. Tell them to just put on some normal voting clothes and they can’t even do it. Meanwhile they have Pi down to the eight millionth digit and just discovered a new element. But picking out a shirt in the morning? That’s gonna be a problem.

PS – How red is the person’s face who worked at the polling place all day, looked at Mitt Romney’s name roughly four hundred billion times, and then spelled it wrong? I guess when you’re 95 and only leave the nursing home to work elections, your vision starts to go.
